I’ve been working on Twivo for the past few days.
Originally I had intended to rewrite it from nothing, but recently decided to use PHP Framework.
So far it’s going great and should be available for current users in a few days.

For the past few months Twivo has been down, there are a few reasons behind it, which are,
- A new Open Source back-end is being written.
- A new theme is being planned.
- The current code sucks.
Yes, you read right, the new back-end of Twivo will be Open Source, the new back-end will be powered by Azure, a framework I’m working on. After Azure is ready to be used in a production environment, I will begin writing the new Twivo.

I know this seems weird, It’s been months since Twivo had so many updates, but that’s because I was trying to think of what I want to do this it, and now I know.
That’s why I’m updated Twivo so much, I’m making it look the way I want it to, awesome yet simple.
I never really liked the forum display or the account display, so I updated them both to look totally awesome.
The forum is looking like a real forum, and the account page is just plain sexy.

That’s right, I make music! Having a Mac makes it really easy with the applications available for Mac OS X.
I have 1 released track and many on the way, just search for “Xocide” on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and a few other places I don’t want to mention because those sites are completely crap.
The next tracks I release will be available only to iTunes and Amazon, possibly even Napster and eMusic.

The new layout for Twivo is done and has been pushed to the live server, Twivo no longer looks like a Twitter ripoff.
Next is the code updates which will add some pretty cool features, I’d say what they are but I want them to be a surprise.

That’s right, the title of this post is TWIVO TWO-POINT-OH. Why? Ok, I will tell you.
I’ve been working on a completely new design for Twivo, which is almost done, and also been working on a code rewrite.
So when you put the new layout and the code rewrite together, you get a new Twivo, which is Twivo 2.0, which is the best Twivo yet.
