Twivo, Back Soon
I’ve been working on Twivo for the past few days.
Originally I had intended to rewrite it from nothing, but recently decided to use PHP Framework.
So far it’s going great and should be available for current users in a few days.

Twivo Down
For the past few months Twivo has been down, there are a few reasons behind it, which are,
A new Open Source back-end is being written.
A new theme is being planned.
The current code sucks.

I make Music
That’s right, I make music! Having a Mac makes it really easy with the applications available for Mac OS X.
I have 1 released track and many on the way, just search for “Xocide” on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and a few other places I don’t want to mention because those sites are completely crap.

Twivo Updated
The new layout for Twivo is done and has been pushed to the live server, Twivo no longer looks like a Twitter ripoff.
Next is the code updates which will add some pretty cool features, I’d say what they are but I want them to be a surprise.
Twivo 2.0
That’s right, the title of this post is TWIVO TWO-POINT-OH. Why? Ok, I will tell you.
I’ve been working on a completely new design for Twivo, which is almost done, and also been working on a code rewrite.
So when you put the new layout and the code rewrite together, you get a new Twivo, which is Twivo 2.0, which is the best Twivo yet.

Time Machine
I use the Time Machine on my Mac to backup to my Time Capsule and I absolutely love it, but what I find to be extremely fraking annoying is it takes 10 minutes to backup 37kb.

Twivo RSS
Been working on adding RSS to Twivo so people can get all their updates/blog posts/audio scrobbles via RSS.
Right now only admins have this feature enabled as its in alpha stage and not very stable, but all users will have access to it soon.

Parallels Desktop 4.0
Upgraded to Prarllels Desktop 4.0 and all I can say is, It freaking SUCKS.
Not only is it slow but it seems to lock up my Mac when doing simple things.
I regret paying the upgrade fee, I should have stuck with 3.0, which didn’t lock up as often.
Now that I'm back on my Mac...
Well now that I’m back on my all powerful and world dominating iMac… well the world dominating part is a lie, but I am on my iMac that is powerful…
Anyway, I will be working on Twivo more and hopefully get the Pagination (Next/Previous pages) stuff done for profiles.
Back to my Mac
No not the Back to my Mac service, I mean I’m going back to my Mac.
I did say that it was annoying but that was when I couldn’t figure out why my mouse was so sluggish, now that I’ve got a proper mouse plugged in and a good surface it’s good again, but still not as perfect as Windows.
Anyway now that I’m on my back again I will be staying on it forever unless...

My own Twitter client
I just spent the whole night working on one thing, something I’ve been doing a lot lately, I seem to be getting back into the game of Developing.
I just made my own simple Twitter client for Twivo.com, right now it only sends status updates but soon it will grab previous status updates.
Subversion starting to get annoying
Subversion is starting to get on my nerves, the last two commits I have made took over 15 seconds or it to say commited revision XX - Really wish my server had Git but that would require a lot of things to be changed for it to be installed.

What to do next...
Trying to think what to add to Twivo next, I was thinking Blogger but I don’t really like Blogger, but I have to add it at some point.
I’ll either add Blogger or TypePad next.

Work Work
After spending the last few days working on the front end of Twivo.com it’s time to work on the areas for Admins to manage teh site.

Subversion, I love it
Subversion makes things so much easier. It makes updating Twivo.com to the latest version easy as saying “Hello”, it’s just a matter of “svn up” and the site is running the latest code.

The internet in Australia completely sucks unless your in an old as feck area that has the real internet, which is called Cable.

Recently I have found myself saying the phrase “Mother——— Please” a lot instead of some other random thing I say when something either ticks me off or just plain annoys me.

Twivo lets people display all their Tweets, Last.fm Srobbles, Tumblr posts and blog posts (except WordPress.com because their RSS feed sucks and doesn’t update, at least thats what the server says)
